According to Omdia’s Digital Consumer Insights 2020 survey, the investment in entertainment and home automation currently dominates the smart home scene with popular devices such as smart TVs, smart media streamers, and AI-enabled smart speakers.

The latter case shows that voice assistants are making great strides at home as a key user interface that not only allows consumers to control smart home devices, but also helps them create their own smart living experiences via numerous applications and services.
