What Happens When a CSP Writes the Wish List for IP Domain Autonomy Software? Appledore Research reviews Radisys Connect Modular Broadband
In this paper, Appledore Research explores Radisys Connect Modular Broadband (CMB) as a new multi-access control, management, and orchestration software suite designed to enable carriers.
The broadband service environment is becoming more demanding and Appledore firmly believes that the era of agile network automation is at hand. The traditional world of broadband services, both residential and enterprise, was relatively static with long-lived services and minimal competition. The emerging broadband world is very different.
In this paper, Appledore Research explores Radisys Connect Modular Broadband (CMB) as a new multi-access control, management, and orchestration software suite designed to enable carriers to run their broadband networks end-to-end, from Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) to the IP core and peering. With Radisys CMB, broadband operators have a new option that realizes modern principles and seeks to take advantage of sophistication while also removing avoidable complexity in broadband networks and operations.
